Mom said she was inspired by seeing her grandson Jason F. perched on top of the bales having a ball and seeming invincible.

The last post on this blog was years ago but I just found it.
Both of my parents passed on in March and we are doing the division of the estate thing. My parents commissioned your Mom to do several pieces for them, which I have put my dibs on. One in particular, which we call "Tingey's Pond" is my favorite. I can send you a picture if you want.

About Beverly B Dobson

Beverly was a member of the professional Associated Utah Artists. Most of her work is in oil, but some is done in water colors, and some using charcoal. Beverly painted the world she knew - mostly landscapes but also still life's and portraits.

Many of her works of art were displayed in the Springville Art Museum and the Utah Historical Society. Her art is scattered and hanging in homes and businesses across the USA.

Beverly was born in the mining town of Ophir, Utah. When she was a toddler, her family moved to Tooele, Utah.When she was 19 she married Jay L Dobson and they built their home on West Vine in Tooele. After WWII ended and Jay returned from serving in the Navy in the Pacific, they continued to live in Tooele until an opportunity surfaced at Sperry Rand and they moved their family to Centerville, Utah. Upon retirement, they relocated to Cache Valley where they lived until they died. Upon death, they returned to their beginnings - Tooele County. Beverly is buried in the Tooele City Cemetery.
